I was so saddened when I heard that Michael had passed away as i recently saw him when I was in Atlanta. Of course he was at the center watching his granddaughter playing basketball with a proud look just like I remember him having when he would watch Robert, Amy and Lori.

I knew Mike in high school. He was easy to be with. I send my condolences to Audrey and his family and all who mourn his passing. May his memory be a blessing.

Sending my condolences to all the Claymans on the loss of Michael . We have known each other for many years, growing up in Atlanta. I have enjoyed milestones and fond memories with the Claymanfamily, and Michael has aways been kind to myself and my family. I know how special he was to his grandkids,children/spouses and family. He will be truely missed.

I distinctly remember Michael from the days of the old Progressive Club. I will remember forever that he was the very first person in my whole life that I saw actually dive off of a high diving board. I idolized him for that for many years thereafter.

Dear Audrey & Family, Though we have not communicated in many years, I have now been residing in the DMV going on 4 years, Mike & the Clayman family bring back many Fond/Happy memories. My late Mom, Hannah & Mike’s Mother were friends when we were growing up. I believe his parents & mine were active in the Mr. & Mrs. Club at A.A., also. Of course, we were neighbors when our kids were growing up in Huntley Hills—Happy times. I am very sorry to learn of Mike’s passing & May G-d be with all of you at this Difficult time. Sending my Deepest Sympathy & losing my Larry, I send you, Audrey, Much Love, Hugs & empathy. May your Beautiful Memories of Mike help you at this time & Always.

I’ve known Mike since the mid 1960's. As singles and later couples with Harvey and I and Audrey and Mike, we spent so much time together which brought a lifetime of memories. Mike coached both of my boys in sports as well as his own children. He was a good man and friend. He was an excellent coach. He continued to be involved in sports with his grandchildren. Mike was a big part of my family’s life. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed.

  • Larry Gordon

I first met Mike in the early days of the synagogue softball league while I was commissioner. He was a talented athlete. Little would I know that when I married Stella her sist-in-law Marianne was Mike’s sister. I would see Mike at many family gatherings and saw that his health was declining. My condolences to all the Clayman family.
