I considered Rob a great friend and neighbor. We both moved into our homes about the same time. It didn't take long for Rob and I to become friends. I loved just doing the casual talk with Rob when I would see him watering his plants or cooking some bbq. I know that he is in a good place now. Our whole family was extremely sad that Rob was taken from us. I just remembered that Rob picked up our kids from school a few times when we were unable to. He was just that kind of great guy. Have said many prayers for Rob and Kim.

I am so sorry for everyone's loss. Kim, I know you lost a dear husband, friend, and life partner. Jenah, you lost a very special uncle. And Dennis and Rick, you lost your baby brother. Selah, you lost your brother-in-law. My heart and thoughts are with all of you in this very difficult time. I plan to watch the service on Zoom so while I will not be there in person, I will be there in spirit.

I first met Rob and Kim in 2021 when I interviewed for their Pet sitter. I could tell instantly how close they were and how much they loved each other and their cats. The thing that caught my attention was the level of Rob’s involvement in the cure for the kitties. As a pet sitter, I typically deal with the wife/female rather than a male. However, in the case of the Zweig’s both Kim and Rob were involved in every decision concerning their precious kitties. Men who are cat lovers tend to be patient, kind and giving of themselves. And I believe that was true of Rob. Whether it was giving instructions for the cats care while they were away, talking about the painful loss of one of their cats or showing me his cane poles that he found on the side of the road to stake up his tomatoes, it was evident that he was a kind, compassionate gentleman who loved Kim and the beautiful life God had given them. Kim, I am heartbroken for your loss and only wish I could have had more time to get to know Rob.

How lucky I am to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so hard. In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. And Rob and I had the best years ever together. Oh how I miss him!!!

Mr. BMW, the ultimate automotive sales consultant. My friend, Rob. Every two or three years for the past 25 years Rob enlighten me with the newest technology, brightest colors, and the best smelling new cars The ultimate persuasion to trade in my old hot rod to get the latest and greatest. Rob made every moment of our transactions together fun and professional. I always loved my time together with Rob. He made me smile, laugh and brought the best out in me! I would drive an extra 25 miles to do business with Rob every time he moved to a new dealership laughing all the way ? Rob Zweig was my BMW experience. It had nothing to do with a dealer … brick or mortar. oh no, it was his warm, personality, boyish grim and convincing sales story why my old car would be surpassed by the newest and greatest. What a salesman! I always enjoy spending money with my friend, he was worth the extra! Oh, how I miss our conversations, our time together, lunches out, etc. etc. Especially getting to know you and Kim together as proof as it has been, a true love affair. True example of the American dream. Rest in peace my friend BenGay.

Rob, You were such a gentleman not only to your clients but to everyone around you. I always enjoyed coming into your office to look for early morning snacks. Kind & generous was Rob. A cat lover, he also befriended the little masked bandits that lived in his back yard & trees. And don't forget that he and his friend Graham Lefton were the kings of gormet Bar-B-Q!
