    Melvin Drukman, 88, of Dunwoody, GA. Beloved husband of Linda Miller died at home surrounded by his family March 18th. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late William and Lillian Drukman. He enlisted in the Marines during the Korean War. After his service, he enrolled at the University of Miami, and earned his Electrical Engineering degree. After marrying his first wife, the late Edith Drukman, he moved to Florida and worked as a contractor to NASA during the Apollo moon space missions. Eddie and Mel moved to Atlanta where he was a manager for Bell South corporation for the next 25 years. Toward the end of his managerial career, he earned his Juris Prudence degree and became a lawyer. He enjoyed serving his clients and running his law practice until 2016 when he retired.

    Mel was a proud member of Temple Emanuel, an avid card player, enjoyed the company of his many friends, loved good music, great food and was loved by all who knew him.

    In addition to his beloved wife Linda and her family, he is survived by his children Susan Drukman-Crasnow and her husband Neal, Richard Drukman and his wife Lori, Michael Drukman and his wife Julie. He was the dear brother of Robert Drukman and his wife Miriam. Mel was the very best grandpa to all 10 grandchildren, Elli, Yaakov, Moshe, Dovid, Marissa, Daniel, Allie, Adam, Jake and Cody - and 7 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxon, Mackenzie, Olivia Grace, Yerucham, Yechiel and Alice.

    Mel lived a life to be proud of, and his presence will be missed by anyone lucky enough to know him.

    Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Tuesday, March 21 at 1:00PM followed by burial in Chevra Mishna Cemetery in Lynn, MA.

    Mel loved to be of service to his community and we love to think his memory will be honored by a random act of kindness or donations in his memory may be made to The Schiff School or to a charity of your choice.
