  Bernice Cohan Meyer (Bunny), who, with her Miami architect husband Joel Meyer, retired to Atlanta in 1991, died March 5, 2023. She was 97. Mrs. Meyer was born in Providence, Rhode Island, raised in Woonsocket, and graduated from Pembroke, then the women’s college of Brown University. The Meyers were married on November 26, 1945, after which Mr. Meyer built a largely residential architectural practice in Miami and Mrs. Meyer pursued a wide range of activities on behalf of her community and Brown University. Survivors include her children: Ellen of Newtown, PA, Jim (Wendy) of Philadelphia; Randy Suchke, husband of deceased daughter, Jill, of Atlanta; her sister, Mish Blacher of Providence; four grandchildren, and two great granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at Temple Kol Emeth in Marietta at 7 pm on Friday, March 17.
