    1. Arthur Ruppelt, age 64, of Alpharetta, passed on March 4, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Ronna Ruppelt; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Jeffrey Pelfrey; brand-new grandson, Charlie River Pelfrey; mother-in-law, Marlene Cohen; sister, Kristi Jalics; brother-in-law, Darryl and Jane Walter; sister-in-law, Renee Higer and Pierre Delafranconi; nieces and nephews, Alice and Michael Claus; Emily and Ingmar Rauschert; Andrew Jalics; Connor Ruppelt; Codie Higer; Kyle Walter, Lela Walter and Hannah Walter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bernadine Ruppelt; and fathers-in-law, Charles Walter and Julian Cohen. Prior to relocating to Atlanta, he was a practicing attorney. His true passion was his art; he was known world-wide for his acrylic pipe tampers he sculpted. He was a man of many hobbies, such as astronomy and birdwatching. Arthur had a sense of humor that he will be remembered for and was devoted to his family. A memorial service will take place 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 7 at Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, 3734 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee, GA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bridgeway Hospice and Emory Winship Cancer Institute.  Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, 770-451-4999
