Rosabelle “Ricky” Epstein Sacks, aged 98, of Memphis, Tennessee, died surrounded by her daughters on November 22, 2022. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by daughters, Sandra Mislow (Sam z”l), Eileen Silberstein (Milton), all of Atlanta, and Gail Kirschner (Allen) of Maale Adumim, Israel: grandchildren Julie Abes (David), Brad Mislow, Jill Cohen (Gideon), Rachel Weber (Harry), Marc Silberstein (Lisa Rosenberger), Judith Hetzroni (Oren), Ira Kirschner (Sam Golino), and Elana Ihilevich (David) and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Louis Sacks and six brothers.

A lifelong Memphian and member of the Baron Hirsch Synagogue, she managed the Hadassah Thrift Shop as if it were her very own business.  Shortly after Joe’s death, she was a sales associate extraordinaire for 20 years at Catherine’s, where he had been the CFO.  She loved playing mah jongg and enjoyed the role of resident social director at the Embassy Apartments where she lived for 16 years.  But she will be best known for being a devoted wife, fantastic mother, and loyal friend.

The family wishes to thank Weinstein Hospice and her caregivers Lucy Leitman, Dee Banks, and Yolanda Reed.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 25th at the Baron Hirsch Cemetery in Memphis.
