  • OBITUARY

How do you take the life of a man that passed to explain how fun, loving and kind he was?  Those who knew him, already know.  Mark Basch passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2022.  Mark was proud to be a Honda mechanic/business owner for over 40 years and could fix any car, anytime.  He loved to tinker around the house and fix the unfixable.  He had a green thumb, he loved science fiction (Star Trek) and music made him happy any time.  Mark never met a stranger and could talk your ear off about politics, the weather or honestly anything at all.  His sharp wit, dry sense of humor, warm heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Mark is survived by his amazing mother, Esther, Rachel (sister), Paul (brother), Elana (niece), Danny (nephew),  Danielle (significant other), Austin and Karissa (pseudo step children).  He mourned the passing of Joe (father) and Fran (sister) before his passing.  Mark had friends from all across the United States and many other countries that also have holes in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to anything near and dear to your heart.  Mark was a true giver and that would be important to him.  Be sure to hug your people right now.  Mark gave the best hugs.

Graveside services will be held at North Atlanta Memorial Park on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00PM with Zoom link available. Arrangements by Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care, 770-451-4999.
