    Leonard Bandler, 89, was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Pauline Bandler. He is survived by his daughters Joyce Dorian (Lewis) and Pam Harms (Lynn), grandchildren Harrison (Samantha), Jessica Moskowitz, Mitchell and Justin Harms, as well as great-grandchildren Owen, Ian, Maddox and Gideon.

    Len was a Navy medic, serving in the Korean War. He worked as a bookkeeper and was a man who always kept busy, having many different part-time jobs. He had many passions, including tennis, riding his bicycle, reading, clocks and collecting coins and stamps. To know him is also to know that he had a sweet tooth and loved his chocolate and cookies.
     

    He was born on the lower East Side of New York, lived in Brooklyn, Queens, Florida and Georgia. He was the second resident at the Berman Commons Assisted Living Facility, part of Jewish Home Life. He enjoyed the JCC and was very active in his synagogue, Congregation Ariel. He had good life and was loved by many.
