I knew Sylvia since I was young and she was a very nice lady. She was friends with my grandmother (Jill Kersh) and my great grandmother (Harriet/Happy Kersh) I remember her saying (oy ya klug) I don’t know if that is Yiddish but it is a phrase that I associate with her. I wish her family well.

Sylvia will be greatly missed. She was like a second mom to me. She always made me smile with our talks and I’ll look forward to seeing her again one day.

Sylvia was a very dear friend who I had known for over 20 years. I really enjoyed times when we would go shopping and eat. She would watch my daughter for me when she was little. She was a dear friend who will be truly missed.
