    Roswell, Georgia - Steven I. Baker, 59, passed away peacefully in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was the husband of Anna Baker. They shared 38 years together. 

     

    Born in Chicago, Illinois, Steven was the son of Frank and Adrienne (Polland) Baker. He graduated from Nichols School in Buffalo, New York and attended Cornell University where he graduated with honors. Steven was a Senior Vice President - Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo for nearly three decades, where he was a revered team member. He dedicated himself to his client’s best interests and securing their future financial safety. 

     

    He was a member of the Cornell University chapter of Delta Chi Fraternity where he held office as President, Treasurer, and Social Chairman. He was a sports enthusiast, avid reader, connoisseur of music, and a fountain of knowledge. Steven will be remembered as a wonderful husband, loving father, dedicated family man, and a trusted friend. 

     

    Steven is survived by his wife Anna (Wolford) Baker, his sons Justin, Matthew, and Trenton, his father Dr. Frank Baker, his brother David Baker (spouse Julianne Geimer), his sister Julie Baker Goldberg (spouse Joshua Goldberg and daughter Sabina Goldberg), and was predeceased by his mother Adrienne (Polland) Baker. 

     

    A private family funeral will be held on Monday, September 20th at 2:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks. 

     

    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Steven’s name to Georgia Transplant Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
