We were so saddened to hear about Max. We have so many fond memories of the years Lauren and Max were together in the Amit program. He was such a good friend to so many and had a wonderful sense of humor. May your memories of Max bring you comfort.

Every day that I came to work at The Davis Academy and saw and spoke with Max it was a blessing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and I am a better person because of the lessons Max taught me. I can vividly remember discussion of Star Wars and the strong Force dwelling inside Max- May the Force reach all of us and continue each day forward.

I went to Davis and Centennial with Max. Every-time I saw him in the hallways I always said hi and Max would do his signature force move on me. I am so sorry to hear about his passing.

So sorry for your loss! I remember Max when he was younger. Willie would bring him around to visit us at Brockport CSD whenever he came to town. Willie was so very proud of Max. I'm not sure if they are at the baseball park or at the race track, but wherever, I know they are together.

Max was a bright star to all that met him. I have fond memories of him and Willie visiting when he was here. Willie was so proud to have everyone meet him and of course Max was very happy to be riding around in the golf cart. He always spoke about how proud he was of David for being the greatest dad and how special the bond was that they shared. The funeral was beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you all loving thoughts and prayers.

MAX!!!! I’m going to miss you buddy!! I had seen him for years with his dad at the golf course but never got introduced. Once I finally did meet him... I was all in! I was fortunate to be included in some events with Max and his classmates, and let me tell you, those memories will last a lifetime. He was TOUGH, tougher than some 5-star athletes I’ve worked with. He was DETERMINED, you saw this if you ever watched him compete. He was an INSPIRATION, you see this in how many lives he touched. Dave and I may disagree on things from time to time but I’m forever grateful that he allowed me the opportunity to call his son my friend. Appreciate the impact you had to me Max, can’t wait to see you again one day!!

I was going to say that I taught Max, but actually, he taught me. When thinking of Max his sense of humor, kindness and love for his family and people in general come to mind. So glad I was able to share time with him. My thoughts are with you all who gave him the most extraordinary life. Rest in peace Mayor Max. Phyllis

Max brought great joy to those he meet. Many of us at Brockport CSD have fond memories of Max and Willie driving around campus on the golf cart and stopping in to say hi when he visited. Willie was full of pride with Max's accomplishments and what a fine young man he was. I know everyone who knew Max feels the same way. Thoughts and prayers to your entire family.
